Once Upon a Time, on a Napkin…
Ideas can emerge at the oddest of times; embrace those moments.
In 2020, Nick Fox sketched out the initial concept for SWOON Media on a Juanitos Taqueria (one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Tucson, TBH!) to-go napkin. Recognizing a need for innovative, local storytelling - and wanting to help grow and support the people and places we love - Nick shared the idea with his business partners and best friends (Rudy Dabdoub, Christina Rosete, and Omar Valle), added amazing team members, and made it a reality.
SWOON Media's ultimate aim is to assist businesses, organizations, and individuals in Tucson and the Sonoran region by helping them share their unique passions and stories through authentic and engaging storytelling. Born and raised in Arizona, Nick has over 25 years in marketing, public relations, and creative direction. He believes deeply in developing colorful, witty, and magnetic branding environments to make meaningful and significant community impact. When not working (is that even a thing?!), he is an ultra-marathon runner, art fanatic, and enjoys traveling to unexpected places.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
A service industry veteran of more than twenty years, Laura has lived in Tucson since 2004, tending bar at the Rialto, LaCo, the Dusty Monk Pub, Crooked Tooth, the Libertine, and Good Oak Bar. She now uses her knowledge and understanding of the bar and restaurant world to create content that celebrates the front- and back-of-house folks who make your favorite food and drinks happen. Laura focuses on making unique content by implementing graphic design, stop-motion animation, sculpture, and more.

Neysha Rivera Aguilar is a dedicated and results-driven professional with over a decade of experience in public relations, marketing, project management, and business development. Skilled in tailoring solutions to client goals, Neysha ensures satisfaction and loyalty. Her business development expertise has identified new market opportunities, expanded client portfolios, and enhanced brand visibility. Outside of work, Neysha enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two rescue pups in their garden.

CONTENT CREATOR
Lance is an accomplished portrait photographer who has happily called Tucson home for 7 years. As a content creator, he focuses on the emotion behind each image he captures, creating deeply moving pieces that stretch the boundaries of social media photography. Outside of work, Lance moonlights as a level 4 High Elf Priest (watch out for that Guiding Bolt spell!), studies world lore of various Japanese animations, and carries a deep love of cooking that has been taught to him by family, friends, and curiosity.
